M.I.L.T. Introduces
Wally the Whale
Program

In an effort to get our Message of Safety to youngsters everywhere, M.I.L.T. has announced the introduction of our lovable mascot, "Wally the Whale."

Wally's message to children is a simple one- if you see a tool...

  1. STOP!
  2. DON'T TOUCH!
  3. Write down the make and model number
  4. Pull the fire alarm if one is available or evacuate premises
  5. Call your parent's attorney.

The Wally the Whale Safety Program also includes the Home Safety Environment Questionnaire for teachers, where they can ask kids to make a list of all the tools their parents own, and "Save a Friend" forms for kids to fill out if they think someone they know might be using an Assault Drill or other tool. If kids turn in enough "Save a Friend" forms AND a completed Home Safety Environment Questionnaire, they become eligible for "Wally the Whale" prizes and gift certificates! It's a fun way for kids to learn about the dangers of tools, and to make their communities safer.
