Tool Lobby Skirts Licensing

As most are aware,
M.I.L.T.'s millions of members have always maintained that tool users should be properly licensed and regulated by the government. The Tool Lobby, however, thinks that it's your "right" to own power tools, and that anyone should be able to waltz into a hardware store and purchase one.

The Tool Lobby doesn't care who gets hurt or injured by their product, as long as they're making money. They realize- deep down in their hearts- that the proper use of their product comes only from government-sponsored testing and licensing.

Yet their insane logic would have you believe that an expensive, complex, and dangerous tool will- somehow- make you smart enough to use it safely! Look at the ad on the left. This power sander could easily rip the flesh off young hands. How will owning it make you a professional? That's like giving a person a jet and telling them they are now a fighter pilot.

These tools- developed for industrial use- have no place in the garages of America. It's an injury or child disfigurement waiting to happen.
