At
first, we couldn't believe it.
We tried
ignoring it, hoping it would go away.
But
alert M.I.L.T. members kept bringing to our attention a company that
went out of its way to furnish users with dangerous tools- tools it
knows are dangerous. We're talking about the "Dead
On" Tool Company.
Dead
On Tools actually capitalizes on the fact that tools and
death go hand and hand.
Witness
the tool on the right, a tool they refer to as the "Exhumer."
A multi-purpose tool, its claim to fame is the built in bottle
opener, for the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Tools
are already dangerous enough, but this company wants to decrease
your chances for survival by including booze into the deadly mix.
Shameful.
The
"Death Stick" hammer. Do we really have to say anything
else? Dead On Tools proclaims that they were
"...founded on the principle that even serious tools can be fun.
Dead On Products like the Death Stick, stand for personal freedom,
and they salute you, the individual, for refusing to accept the status
quo."
Personal
freedom? Is refusing to accept common sense tool licensing
a celebration of freedom? Would they feel more free laying on an emergency
room table with a limb waiting to be reattached? Does loss
of blood make them feel more patriotic?
Dead
On Tools confirms what M.I.L.T. and its members knew all along-
death and tools often go hand and hand.
